Carlyn is a great friend of mine and it didn't take long for Lowell to become one as well! They flew me out to California for the wedding, so the day before we headed to Newport Beach to do their formal shoot. I have been waiting a long time to do a wedding shoot on a REAL beach and the ocean... not just a stinky lake one. We were pressed for time and had 40 minutes to get on the beach, shoot and be on our way! It was also 3:00 in the afternoon, so the sun was nice and high and blindingly bright! But we managed to have a ton of fun and get some beautiful shots! I really want to go back there!!
See, I told you it was bright.
So bright that we finally had to take cover and get out of the sun.
These two are so cute together and know how to have fun. I could not be happier for them.
I love the real laughter here from both of them. I truly try to have so much fun at my shoots.
The Handsome Groom.
The Gorgeous Bride.
I then told her to spin. She laughed at me and I said, "no seriously, spin." I do love the result!!
To end this post I am adding in some pictures of the pier and the fun that surrounded it. Loved it, and want to go back.

I hope you enjoyed looking at this as much as I enjoyed putting it together! p.s. I really love everything about the beach...the color of the sand, the ocean blues and greens... the smell and sound of the ocean and the sound of the birds.
